One of my favourite seafood tapas bars, without the tourist crowds, in Gracia.Lluritu is that seafood tapas bar we all dream of for our Barcelona trip, with a marble counter, and a menu on the wall with daily specials written on the tiles. Excellent fresh seafood, order the grilled calamar, shrimp, scallops, clams and the tomato and smoked eel salad. Also fish grilled or fried on the plancha. The other restaurant, Lluritu 2, is a few blocks away and has a similar menu but a modern interior.

Mainly they offer grilled dishes: vegetable, meat and fish very well done over the fire. Even the desserts. Comfy ambiance in a small restaurant. Highly recommended when you are in Barcelona and you escape from tapas restaurants and want fine dining with reasonable prices.

Fine dining without nitrogen Suculent is like a bridge between Catalan tradition and creativity, it’s fine dining without espuma and nitrogen but with friendly service and the cozy atmosphere of a gastropub. The tasting menus are balanced and you don’t feel overstuffed after the meal. It’s also a rare example of value for money and an interesting and not too fancy wine pairing.
