Chef
Karime López is the chef at Gucci Osteria in Florence. She was born and raised in Querétaro north of Mexico City. As a chef, she’s worked in some of the most prestigious kitchens around the world, from Spain (Mugaritz), to Mexico (Pujol), Peru (Central), and Japan (Ryugin), before finally landing at Gucci Osteria Florence in 2018. Together with her husband, chef Takahiko Kondo, they are the co-Executive Chefs of Gucci Osteria.
