Classic Soho dining room, still turning out delicious food and wine late into the night I haven’t been to blue ribbon in probably 20 years, so I was curious to see on my last visit how well it has aged. Turns out it hasn’t aged much at all, stepping into that room still feels the same as it ever has. Which is to say that things are still very good and you can’t do better especially these days for a late meal in New York, when you factor in the quality of the dishes and the general breath of the wine list. The fried chicken still holds up steak. Au poivre was perfectly good, and the sundae that my companions ordered was over the top. Wine was pretty good.
