Golden Bull Restaurant

There are restaurants which mesmerize you and then there are those places which feel like home the moment to walk in the door. And those latter restaurants (a lot of times older places) might not even have the most amazing food, but rather they focus on getting traditional dishes absolutely right. Golden Bull is such a place. It feels old Hollywood while being approachable. The food is traditional steak house fare but done extremely well (the corn side dish especially stood out to me … crisp and flavorful, using corn from the cob). The staff was friendly and overall despite this being my first visit it felt like I had been here many times. A great place to come back to, to hang out at, all while eating great, fresh basic food.
