This vegetarian Israeli restaurant was an accidental find, though not by accidentally driving by (which considering the location — across the LAFD parking lot and next to a tire place — will likely not happen that often). But once you find it you will be glad you did. The menu won’t make you miss meat at all and especially the salads (like the carrot salad and the cauliflower ones) are extremely tasty. A lot of vegetarian restaurants can add a bit too much nuts, resulting in heavy food, but Mazal doesn’t fall into that trap. I also really liked the flatbreads.
