Insane pizzas and natural wines are a combo that’s here to stay
Insane pizzas and natural wines are a combo that’s here to stay and Picsa is a great example of that. The delicious, naturally leavened pies (made with a mix of three different flours) they serve here are thought to be for two and you can choose to have two “flavours” on each circle of dough. Try the “Calabresa a la antigua”, with tomato, ‘nduja de Calabria, piparras and olives from Aragón; or the “pato confitado e higos”, a mix of shredded confit duck with figs and fresh herbs. Most of the pizzas obviously have cheese but the favoured dairy is not the typical mozzarella - it’s a house made cheese that mixes influences from Galicia and other (secret) parts of the world. For dessert go for the simple “flan de huevo” with “dulce de leche” and whipped cream or the indulgent chocolate tart with “dulce de leche”.
