Contemporary Greek restaurant and bistrot with magenta coloured walls and brass details. When seven years ago started Vasiliki Kouzina, she wanted to bring to Milano not only an authentic idea of Greek cuisine but the full feeling, atmosphere and culture behind the regional and typical local cuisine. Presenting the most common recipes, like moussaka, dolmades, tzatziki, greek salad or baklavas but pushing indeed into a deeper and refined exploration of Greek casual and fine dining. Where to start with? From the producers of course, and the territory. Today, Vasiliki remains the only contemporary Greek restaurant in Milano - and probably one of the few with such a vision and quality in Italy - to serve the wines by Domaine Sigalas, Trikalinos mullet roe, Spartan feta cheese or Santorini’s celebrated fava beans. The kitchen concept was defined by Vasiliki with the constant help and support of Chef Gikas Kenakis awarded in 2020 by Gault & Millau as Best Greek Chef. Gikas has a long experience in food consulting and with him, each recipe is studied, conceived and trained by the kitchen staff. The menu is the result of a truly authentic regional cuisine but enriched with a touch of contemporary technique, a lighter and finer taste and a beautiful aesthetic.
