Run by a couple, Sandra and Nicolas, who worked in the fragrance industry and the creative industry before founding the chocolate shop. They craft their own chocolate and I think it's the best chocolate I've had in my whole life. To get desserts, ice cream or chocolate, I haven't found anything better than this. It's amazing and the place is small and beautiful.They make their own chocolate and also beverages (you can have a hot chocolate shot), cookies, chocolate cakes, tarts with fruits that vary according to the seasons. They also have sheep milk chocolate which is amazing. I usually take the macaron noisette and the rocher coco; so coconut with chocolate. It is located on Rue Rue du Nil, which is full of food shops and restaurants. So if you're a foodie, it's probably the place to go.

When I moved to Paris it took me a long time to find a good coffee shop as coffee wasn’t yet a big thing here in Paris. Telescope is now my little oasis in Paris for really excellent coffee. The owner Nicolas Clerc sometimes makes bread for sandwiches or Kouign-amann cakes - probably the best I've ever had in my life. It’s a very humble act of passion - the excellent cake is a reflection of the precision in his coffee too, as he’s calibrating the coffee machine between every couple of coffees.
