Cesare Battisti

Cesare Battisti is the chef and founder of Ratanà and a guardian of the traditional Milanese cuisine. After having worked in the best restaurants in Europe and Milan, he opened Ratanà in 2009, which he manages with his partner in life and sommelier Federica Fabi. Cesare Battisti’s cooking is driven by a strong desire to modernise traditional Milanese cooking as he remembers it from his childhood with emphasis on the quality of produce, seasonality and sustainability.
