Founded by a chef off the star studded casts of Top Chef; this restaurant proves its mettle and worth via creativity.If you're one to idolise the French program Top Chef, Chef Matthias Marc is not a name that you'll forget. This restaurant, just a strut away from the eiffel tower is breathtaking upon entry but be fooled not by its artistic exterior, the kitchen packs in tons of flavour into its food. The tasting menu celebrates slow food, each element on the plate, stretched, poured, schmeared so much so that they beckoned to be prodded at, investigated and admired for its underlying efforts. Following a dynamite trio of starters which include a tarlet of eggplant, gooseberry and sesame, the kitchen graduates to a cold starter of sea bream with almond cream doused in a wistful pool of geranium milk for a brilliant touch of light perfume and citrus. Across those translucent slices lay a lawn of white almonds and white raspberries which are a pertinent decision to introduce subtle and seasonal crunch.
