A nice surprise in the Chamberí neighborhood
Nanako is a Japanese restaurant but it allows itself to play with Latin flavors. Its owner is Brazilian, so expect some of his favorite flavors from home to appear on the menu.
The omakase menu (55€) is without a doubt the best option. Try to get a seat near at the counter to see all the action or at any of the tall tables in the front part of the restaurant.
Some of the highlights of the menu were the charred salmon nigiri with burnt onion. Or the Brazilian style beef robata with farofa. Loved the tuna tiradito also!
